World Military Sports Games
pasaulinės karių sporto žaidynės statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Kompleksinės sporto varžybos, kuriose dalyvauja pasaulio šalių sportininkai kariai. Pasaulines karių sporto žaidynes rengia Tarptautinė karinio sporto taryba (CISM). Pirmosios pasaulinės karių sporto žaidynės surengtos 1995 m. Romoje (Italija) po 50 metų nuo Antrojo pasaulinio karo pabaigos. Dalyvavo per 100 valstybių sportininkai kariai. Vyko 17 sporto šakų varžybos. Pirmosiose varžėsi 32 sportininkai iš Lietuvos – dziudo, bokso, parašiutų sporto, šaudymo iš pistoleto ir lengvosios atletikos atstovai. atitikmenys: angl. World Military Sports Games vok.
